Newcastle and Gateshead water company offices

Built 1894-97; demolished

This building was illustrated in the Building News of 29 January, 1897. Freeman and Robins won the contract in a “limited competition”, judged by T E Colcutt. Robins was later asked to design offices in Gateshead for the company; it is not known if Freeman had any involvement in this.
